Betteridge Watch Fair – 2018

by on May 8th, 2018

The Betteridge Watch Fair brings the excitement of SIHH- the iconic Swiss watch exhibition- to the US.

On Thursday, May 10th, it is our privilege to host many of the leading brands in fine watchmaking, including Cartier, A. Lange & Söhne, Panerai, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Baume Mercier. Exhibitors are completely transforming areas of our flagship store to showcase many of their latest and greatest 2018 watch introductions.

This is an exclusive opportunity for watch collectors to interact with leaders in the watchmaking world on a personal level, as well as try on the best of the best from SIHH.

Other highlights include a special edition Baume Mercier motorcycle on premises presented by Indian Motorcycle, German beers from A. Lange & Söhne, and a whiskey tasting.

On July 20th, Betteridge proudly presented 1999 World Series Champions Fan Ring Day at Yankee Stadium.

The first 18,000 guests 14 and younger received a replica of the 1999 World Series Champions ring. In recognition of one of the truly extraordinary Yankee teams, Betteridge designed the ring to resemble the original as closely as possible.

It was a great day at the Stadium (the Yankees won in the bottom of the ninth!), and everybody left a champion.

Mark Davis Designer Showcase, November 26-27

by on November 5th, 2010

Mark Davis 'Leontine' Tortoise Bakelite Bangle with Citrine, $6,070

Mark Davis bakelite jewelry is akin to postmodern “ivory” masterpieces. The exacting techniques of working the bakelite are similar to those employed for natural ivory, but without ivory’s associated ecological devastation. In addition, the bakelite offers a range of colors and patterns that are unique and remarkable in their own right.

Mark’s expert use and adaptation of alternative materials is one reason that his jewelry is so special. By applying the exacting techniques of the haute joaillerie to materials not traditionally considered “fine,” Mark has created collections remarkable for their freshness and exceptional distinctiveness.
